Graze Review

Graze is a new subscription box service that delivers healthy snacks for just $5, it could be weekly, every 2 weeks o every 4 weeks, nice, right? They offer two different kind of boxes the nibblebox and the lightbox (the low calories one) I choose the nibblebox.

*I received my first box on the first week of May, but I didn't have this blog yet so the box I'm going to review today is my second box, here we go:

Like I said Graze only charges $5 per box, they charged me on May 18 and I received my box on May 25, they prepare the box according to your taste preference, once you get your box you can review it, if you don't like a certain snack you received you can mark it as a "trash" item and they are never going to send you that snack.

My snacks
As you can see in the picture above they send you 4 different flavors, the portions are prepared to satisfy your hunger in a healthy way.

The snacks I received:

Born in the USA
Born in the USA: This snack is a blend of pecans, cranberries and almonds, I personally love pecans and almonds, the cranberries are sweet so this was for me one of my favorite ones so far, I rate it "Love" so that way they send me this snack more often

Cheddar gorge
Cheddar gorge: This snack is a blend of cheese flavored cashews, salsa corn sticks and herb crackers, well I'm not a fan of cashews but this ones taste so yummy (I love cheese) they were so crunchy aka fresh; the salsa corn sticks were crunchy and very well flavored, I like that they weren't to blended but also I would like it to be spicy, its just my taste; the herb crackers how do I start, it is ok if I just say YUMMY! because they were my favorite. One more time I rated it "LOVE"

fruit and seed flapjack
Fruit and seed flapjack: This flapjack was ok (for me) the sweetness was perfect,  I don't know how to describe the flavor, because I just took a bite and gave it to my husband, and he liked it right away. I rate it "Like" that way they would send it to me once in a while.

Pina Colada
Pina Colada: Its a blend of dried pineapple, mango and coconut flakes, I LOVE this one, the pineapple was so sweet sweet, it makes me want to eat a whole pineapple just to think about it, the mango was ok, the coconut flakes taste like you know coconut, but the highlight was the pineapple. I rate it "LOVE"

Like I said Graze is very new in this market and for that reason you need a invite code to join in, in case you don't have one you can join the waiting list, or you can do it like me, I was chasing a code until I got one and of course I gave out my code to another fellow chaser.

*Fun story: I received this box on Saturday and we were going on a 45 min road trip, I take the pictures fast before we were leaving our house, this box came in handy because I was a little hungry because I didn't have time to eat and prepare lunch for the road because we were on a hurry, so I ate it all almost by myself I only shared the flapjack with my husband and that was just because I don't like that one that much haha.

What do you think about graze?

God bless you

Babbabox Review: May 2013

Hi there this is my first box review of my very first Babbabox so here we go.

Babbabox is a monthly box from babbaco with activities for kids 3 to 7, they include all the material you  may need. Every month its a different theme, they have three different type of boxes the digital membership from $6.99, the babbabox from $15.99 and the premium babbabox from $29.99.

I choose the babbabox and recieved the shipping information on may 17 and got it on may 20, the theme was "Kitchen Science", it arrived in a bubble mailer, I didn't know about this until I left a comment on their facebook wall and they told me that the babbabox would arrive in a bubble mailer and the babbabox premium in a box, I was a little disappointed about that, but once I opened the items and started doing some of the science, it was definitely a keeper.

Babbabox arrived on a bubble mailer

Babbabox
The contents (Instructions no pictured)

As you can see the package was in neat condition, very well maintained on the bubble mailer.

The theme this month was "Kitchen Science" they sent the necessarry materials and instructions to make a volcano, a lava lamp, magic mud and a bouncy ball. They also include some star stickers so you can put it onto each activity as you do it. They recommend you to ask questions to your child to encourage critical thinking while doing the experiments.
The instructions are very well detailed

 The materials included were:
  • Googles
  • Test tubes
  • 2 packages of corn starch
  • food coloring
  • multipurpose glue
  • Sodium tetraborate (borax)
  • eyedropper

Information card

 Two side instruction cards

Instructions for the volcano
Magic mud Instructions

Lava lamp Instructions

We love our babbabox, the first experiment we did was the lava lamp and we have much fun doing this, my husband love this concept and of course my daughter too, she thought she was a real scientist. Due to my husband's homework and work and because I didn't have baking soda, we weren't able to do the volcano, but its one of the many things that we will do this weekend and we are expecting our June box to be as much fun and educating as this was, this box don't have a monetary value instead it has the family value because you can spent quality time with your kids.

If you like this box and want to try it for your family you can save $10 your first box by using my link Here and I'm not going to lie I will receive a credit if you do so.

And for limited time only you can get the digital summer survival guide trial for free if you click Here

The Subscription box story

Yes I'm one of those moms too, that love subscription boxes, I wonder why I just knew about them? they seem so fun, so here is the story on how I became a subscription box mom.
It all began in April I was on the facebook wall of the honest company (you know the one that Jessica Alba co-founded, if you don't know I will explain later) so I was reading the comments (when I'm bored sometimes I read facebook walls from the pages I like) and I  found that someone was happy because one of their products were going to be feature in Citrus lane, I was asking myself what is Citrus lane? so I goggled it and search on facebook too, and after found out about it, I fell in love (yep i read a lot of comments, reviews  etc..) and of course I jumped on subscription box bandwagon, you know when you find about one thing and keep searching about, you may find other similar things that are related too what you may like, so that happened to me, so now I'm expecting my first boxes this month, yay!

What is a subscription box? In case you don't know. Well there are a lot of different subscription boxes, for babies, kids, mommies, daddies, etc., but basically a subscription box is a service that sends right to your home different products for a monthly membership fee, it could be a surprise box or you may know what is inside. It's a new form to try new products, discover new brands and have fun.

So yes, expect to find reviews from my subscription boxes in this blog.

God Bless You

Why I started this blog?

Hi there, the reasons why I decided to write a blog are because I wanted to share my thoughts, a little part of my life, my hobbies, my beliefs, the things that I discover everyday, and to make my voice be heard.
I have kids and want to share the things I learn everyday as a mom.

I don't know how to write a blog, but I will learn, I expect to have fun and want you to have fun with my stories.

So once again welcome to this part of my life

God bless you all

Faty
